Creating an open concept feel
Often times when we meet with people looking to have their kitchen remodeled, they eventually come to the conclusion that an adjacent space needs a little TLC too. This project is an example of one style element flowing into an adjacent room to connect two spaces and creating an open concept feel.
This set of homeowners love their wine and their grandkids and this was incredibly obvious when we discussed design ideas. A breakfast bar on the expansive island, a wine bar, and perfect sight lines into the TV/kids play room were all musts for this project.
Glass pendant lights, an overhanging soffit, and quartz countertops are the details that give this project an elegant feel. Custom inserts in the cabinetry are designed with the grandkids in mind, with a snack cabinet at a low height for little ones.
