Kitchen Remodel | Wedgewood Terrace | Woodbury, MN
styles change over time
What do you do when the kids move out and retirement creeps in? Downsize and find a location that works with your new lifestyle; that’s exactly what these homeowner’s did. This couple are into skiing, traveling, golfing, and spending time with their grandkids. When given the opportunity to build a new house on a golf course within a short drive of the airport, they jumped at the chance and in 1996, they made the move to Woodbury.
Fast forward almost 20 years and they realized the kitchen needed a make over. Refinished hardwood floors, new countertops, and custom painted cabinetry all created a new feel to the home. Add a beautiful view of Prestwick Golf Course and you have the perfect retirement home for this active couple.

Material specifics for this project include a mix of painted & glazed cherry cabinetry and bellini granite countertops with a double thick edge on the island. The oak hardwood floor was sanded down and refinished with a custom warm brown stain. There is a faux finish wood hood and Hubbardton Forge pendant lights to match.
