Improve traffic flow to allow easier entertaining
This main objective of this stunning kitchen remodel was to improve the traffic flow throughout the main level. This family loves to entertain and everyone always seems to congregate in the kitchen. This was a problem because the kitchen was almost completely closed off from the dining and family rooms. We removed the wall separating the spaces which opened up the first floor. Adding a dry bar keeps the owner from trekking downstairs every time he mixes his guests a drink. The granite island complements the red oak cabinetry while the soapstone perimeter and dry bar anchor everything together.
