This project was much more than the pictures show; we actually changed the footprint on the main level to create a more efficient and open layout. We switched the direction of the staircase into the basement and took out the wall between the living and dining rooms. Then we closed off the back hallway to create a butler’s pantry in the kitchen and a laundry room near the back bedrooms.
This kitchen is a classic example of showing off the homeowners taste. Simple, but elegant, classic and chic, this kitchen is a show stopper. The medium toned hardwood flooring plays well off of the cream and white throughout the kitchen. Beautiful crystal light fixtures sit above the large breakfast bar, perfect for Sunday morning brunch with the family. Light pours off the lush green golf course in the backyard, filling the whole kitchen, living room, and dining room with natural light that was obstructed before by the awkwardly placed wall.
White washed white oak perimeter cabinetry pairs well with Alpine Mist quartz countertops and paint & glaze island with White Macaubus quartzite top. We installed a built in refrigerator with wood panel fronts, double ovens, and an induction cooktop with Thermador down draft island vent.
